WASHINGTON (TND) — Childhood gender dysphoria diagnoses and the number of American children receiving gender-transitioning treatment, such as puberty blockers, have skyrocketed in recent years, according to data obtained by Reuters. An analysis of health information technology company Komodo Health Inc. data reveals the number of children aged 6 to 17 diagnosed with gender dysphoria increased by 70% between 2020 and 2021. Overall, more than 120,000 children face the psychological distress that may result in those whose gender identity differs from their biological sex.

The owners of the Brookville Frosty Freeze say they want to help the victim, Penny Conser, after she "lost everything," including one of her legs.

TACOMA, Wash. (TND) — A pregnant woman has been charged with murder after her 3-year-old son was found dead and “cold to the touch” inside an apartment, Sunday evening, and the details are chilling.
Ivey Lewis, 25, pleaded not guilty to a count of first-degree murder and two counts of second-degree murder.
Police in Tacoma, Wash., said officers went to the apartment after getting a report of an unresponsive child from a friend of the mother who went there to “hang out” after the Super Bowl.
Officials say it's snake season here in west central Pennsylvania and they're warning residents to be on the lookout.

WINBURNE - A water main break in Clearfield County has left thousands of customers with little to no water.
Secretary Sapphire Burnisky with the Cooper Township Municipal Authority said the break took place in Munson around Christmas, when the temperatures started to drop. Burnisky said crews have yet to locate the break. "It's been very stressful," Burnisky said. "The guys have lost a lot of sleep. They're just worried about not having water for these customers and now that we've hit that point, it's been very chaotic.
Indiana County, PA (WJAC) — Indiana County coroner Jerry Overman has identified the man who was shot and killed by state police over the weekend following a high-speed chase.
Overman says 51-year-old John Vincent Dye suffered multiple gunshot wounds following the officer-involved shooting that occurred late Sunday night.
Investigators say troopers attempted to conduct a traffic stop in Center Township, when Dye fled the scene and a pursuit was initiated.
