UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. (WJAC) — Pennsylvania State University police are investigating a pornographic video filmed in a classroom and posted online.
University spokeswoman Lisa Powers says screen captures of the video were shared with university police to try to determine if there is any criminal activity related to this, such as nonconsensual acts or the involvement of a minor.
Here’s Powers’ statement in full:
“If in fact the screen captures we have been provided are accurate, Penn State was obviously not aware of the use of its classroom in this manner, and the film was clearly made without any official permission.
Elk Co., PA (WJAC) — State police in Elk County have charged a Bellefonte man with various sex crimes after police discovered a video of him sexually assaulting a young boy, according to a criminal complaint.

Investigators say in April of 2020, troopers received a CyberTipline report in regards to a video that showed an adult man sexually assaulting a young boy while the child is sleeping.
NEW YORK (AP) — Donald Trump’s legal team rested its case Tuesday in his hush money trial after calling just two witnesses and opting not to have the former president take the stand in his own defense.
But despite what Hollywood courtroom dramas might suggest, that isn’t all that unusual, according to criminal defense lawyers and former prosecutors.
The reason is simple: Prosecutors need to prove their case, while the defense only has to show there’s reasonable doubt their client committed a crime.

“I experienced some racial discrimination in the '60s and the '70s and when I went to the military, I also experience some stuff,” Witherspoon said.
SOMERSET COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — State police in Somerset County say a Salisbury woman is facing charges, accused of burning cigarettes on the skin of a young boy.
According to the affidavit, troopers were contacted in February to investigate a CYS complaint regarding burn marks on the finger and neck of a 5-year-old boy.
Upon further investigation, authorities questioned 66-year-old Miriam Housel, who claimed that the marks were "birthmarks."
Police say doctors at UPMC Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh concluded that the marks were not consistent with any accidental injuries and were left intentionally.
The Jonas Brothers are making their rounds through our region this week, performing in Hershey on Saturday, Pittsburgh on Tuesday, followed by a concert in State College on Wednesday. However, the brothers are making headlines across the country for a different reason.
While there have been Jonas sightings in the past, like celebrating 21st birthdays at Champs, showing support for the Nittany Lions at the Rose Bowl, or Joe Jonas performing at THON in 2017, there has never been quite so many consecutive public stops to Happy Valley as there have been this year.
