BLAIR COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — An Altoona couple is facing felony child endangerment charges after police say they overdosed early Wednesday morning with children in the home. According to the Altoona Police Department, Colton Flannery and Rose Markle have both been charged with a felony and two misdemeanors. Police say they were called just after midnight to the 200 block of Willow Avenue for reports of an unconscious woman. They say dispatchers were told the woman had shallow breathing and that Narcan was given two times.

Authorities continue searching for a woman who went missing while she was on a cruise to the Caribbean with her family nearly three decades ago. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) said Amy Lynn Bradley, of Petersburg, Virginia, was last seen on March 24, 1998. At that time, she was 23 years old and vacationing with her loved ones aboard the Royal Caribbean International Cruise Line’s ship Rhapsody of the Seas.

Johnstown, PA (WJAC) — A man wanted on homicide charges in Philadelphia was captured in Johnstown on Wednesday morning. Authorities say Jharon Dockery is accused of shooting and killing another man in the city of Philadelphia. According to officials with the U.S. Marshals Service, Dockery was taken into custody outside a residence along Cypress Ave. in Johnstown. Johnstown police and the Cambria County SERT assisted with the arrest. Officials say Dockery was booked into the Cambria County Prison and is awaiting extradition to Philadelphia.

Cambria County, PA — Police say Dirk Jones faces first-degree murder, and other charges, for killing 21-year-old Caleb Beppler and wounding another man outside of the now former Liquid Currency bar in Cambria City. “We’re still working on piecing all the whole specific timeline together," says Cambria County District Attorney Greg Neugebauer. Investigators are working to determine exactly what led to shots being fired by Jones, on that June 10th morning.

As the weather continues to warm up, more road construction projects are popping up across our region. On Monday, state police, PennDOT and the Highway Safety Network announced “Operation Yellow Jacket,” which will include work-zone speed enforcement in Cameron, Centre, Clearfield and Elk counties. Troopers will sit "in PennDOT vehicles,” wearing PennDOT issued hardhats and vests, while watching for speeding, tailgating and distracted driving. It's being done in an effort to reduce the number of work-zone fatalities across the state.

WASHINGTON (7News) — Baltimore’s Francis Scott Key bridge disaster has highlighted a common structural vulnerability in thousands of American bridges. More than 17,000 bridges lack structural redundancy, just as the Francis Scott Key Bridge did. Engineers call these bridges "fracture critical," meaning if one structural support fails, the entire bridge can collapse. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) immediately identified this lack of structural redundancy as a factor in the Key Bridge’s failure.
