PITTSBURGH (AP) — After four years of testing, the Pennsylvania Turnpike says it plans to move ahead with a $129 million project to become a completely cashless toll system in two years, eliminating hundreds of toll collecting and auditing positions along the way.
Turnpike chief executive officer Mark Compton told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette last week that "the goal is to have the system completely cashless by the fall off 2021."

Investigators say David Dobrowolsky faces multiple counts of indecent assault, corruption of minors and indecent exposure, according to court documents.

CENTRE CO, Pa (WJAC) — The Centre County libraries in Bellefonte, Centre Hall and Philipsburg reopened on Monday, with restrictions and guidelines in place.

CLEARFIELD, Pa. — Pennsylvania's statewide bear season came to a close Wednesday.
As of Wednesday afternoon, Mickey Moore, of Clearfield, harvested the third largest bear in the state.
Moore killed the 704-pound male Nov. 17 in Goshen Township, Clearfield County.
Moore said he and a group of friends were out driving for bear and following tracks.
He said the bear stepped out in front of him and he took the shot.
JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) — Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center is now offering more types of treatment for their cancer patients.
Tuesday, they revealed their newly expanded Conemaugh Cancer Center, which will now have radiation oncology services.
Congressman John Joyce even stopped by to see the new facility.
The new linear accelerator in the center lowers the risk of healthy tissue being damaged during radiation treatment.
This allows cancer patients to receive all of their necessary treatments in one place.
YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — UPDATE | More information about the fatal crash has been released. According to Pennsylvania State Police, troopers responded to the multi-vehicle accident at 12:27 a.m. to find a man trapped under a van in the northbound lanes.
Police say that the man, identified as 41-year-old Joseph Biswa, was unconscious but breathing. Upon further investigation, police found that Biswa had been in an accident with another vehicle that left his car unable to be driven and blocking the southbound lanes.
